Dianne Rhodes, DiddyDi7@aol.com : I was told by my grandfather that he moved to Louisiana From Georgia. His father's name was John Nutt Martin, from Randolph, Co. Georgia. J.N. Martin was born in 1798 and died 10-7-1865. He is buried in Providence Cemetery, out of Ringgold, La. in Beinville Parish.

William A. Martin died 9-5-1902. I do not have the birth date. He married Catherine Frances Evans, born 11-12-1841 and died 11-6-1926. They had 10 children.: Jon William Martin2-17-1866,William A. Martin 12-11-1867, Kate Martin 2-19-1871,James H. Martin 1-30-73, Ed E. Martin 1-10-1875,Thomas Jefferson Martin 4-2-1877, Luther W. Martin 12-13-1878, Henry Allen Martin 4-7-1881, Jesse N. Martin 12-19-1884, Charley D. Martin 3-19-1886. W. A. Martin lived in Beinville or Red River Parish Louisiana all of their lives as did most of their children. William and Catherine are both buried in the Social Springs Cemetery, in Red River Parish, about 20 miles out from Coushatta, La.(08/02/98)
